We’re still not out of the grip of winter yet, but if however you’re like me and feel the need for a run outside in the fresh air a couple of times a week, you need to make sure you layer up for warmth and style!
Like I always say you live your life on a never ending catwalk. So whether you choose to walk, run, ski or cycle, there is no excuse for not looking your best! And with that in mind, here are Fernanda’s Rules for a head-turning outfit for when you are going for a run out in the cold:
Fernanda’s Rule Number 1: Wear THICK gym leggings. This is a must, otherwise you will freeze: and that’s why I have chosen one of my favourites from Track and Fields.
Fernanda’s Rule Number 2: Wear a JUMPER but not any jumper: the ONE that I have gone for is this cute little number from Miss Guided. I think it looks beautiful, colourful and comfortable: three criteria that are all a MUST in my book.
Fernanda’s Rule Number 3: COMFORTABLE TRAINERS! It’s very important to ensure you remain injury free and cushion your feet while running. So always go for a well-fitting pair of trainers, but at the same time why not choose something pretty and with lots of colours like my ones from ASICS.
Fernanda’s Rule Number 4: Before bedtime make sure you drink this FIT DETOX TEA – It will help you clean your body from those desserts that you have eaten during the week (Which I KNOW that you have had, because I did too – and I know that I am as naughty as you!). Equally it will also revive you after the couple of miles that you ran earlier in the day.
